WHO WE ARE

Do I have to be home during installation?

A: We insist that you meet with our installer before we begin work and remain easily accessible for the duration of the installation, preferably on site if possible. Issues could arise and only you can make the best decision if needed.

Should the fence be treated?

A: Not necessarily, exposure to nature’s elements will damage the wood with time. If you prefer treaded, always use a product with a UV inhibitor.

How long does a wooden fence last as opposed to a vinyl fence?

A: There are many variables. Climate exposure to the sun, wind and general elements will impact the life expectancy of a wooden fence depending on the type of wood. Vinyl is maintenance free and could last longer.

Do I need a permit to install a fence?

A: Many towns and counties require a permit to install a fence, so please check with your local zoning and planning department and your HOA.

Are there any restrictions on fence styles and heights?

A: Yes, if you belong to an HOA you must check with them for their requirements. Most cities have a restriction of 6′ height limit in the city. There could be other height restrictions for houses on corner lots.

Can I make a change to the project once work has begun?

A: It depends on the type of change and when the request is presented but typically you can, as long it is not special order or custom made materials. (Please note that such change can impact the final cost).

How deep are the post set?

A: All post are set at 2′ to 3´ deep depending on the height of the fence. 2′ is acceptable up to 6′ tall. Fences taller than that are will have the post set deeper depending on the style of the fence. (i.e. a backstop or a gate that is 12′ to 15′ tall, those can be up to 4′ deep).

Do you use concrete or dirt to set post?

A: We will use concrete to set most post depending on the materials.
